Just like a fairy cake land ♥

Do you know what is heaven?

Heaven could be many things, eating your favorite chocolate cake, finding the perfect job, travelling around the world, etc.

For me heaven is walking down the street and look to the perfect pink Peggy Porschen Cakes Parlour's doors. Those are the heaven's doors!
Once I opened the doors I was in a fairy cake land, a pink, sweet heaven♥.
It was heaven cake o'clock and nothing is better than a dark chocolate truffle cake (rich chocolate cake layered with velvety smooth dark chocolate ganache and topped with dark chocolate truffles) and a cup of cappuccino. This fairy coffee break warmed my soul♥.

And to bring home I bought a cake stand and a Red Velvet cupcake (velvety red vanilla sponge with a light taste of chocolate,
topped with a heavenly vanilla cream cheese frosting).

If you go to London don't miss the opportunity to visit Peggy Porschen Cakes Parlour and have a nice trip to heaven.

Caramelized Hazelnut - The Drama Queen

Being a fanatic and a dessert lover I had to mention one of my favorite ingredients: hazelnuts! Who doesn't love nutella or hazelnut chocolate?
When it comes to nuts and chocolate nothing seems to be sweeter than drinking tea or coffee and eating an hazelnut warm brownie on a rainy day.
I think hazelnuts are loved by everyone, if it isn't, seriously it should be.

Hazelnuts are very simple and you can use them for muffins, cookies, fill and garnish cakes, just use your imagination.
In fact hazelnuts can be even more appealing, they can bring the drama to your desserts and be the spotlight to any dessert.
I'm talking about caramelized hazelnuts.
A simple caramel sauce can do wonders for your desserts.

For me this screams Drama!

Have a wonderful drama dessert day <3

Peony Love

One of my favorite flowers is definitely the peony. For me there's nothing more beautiful than a big and fluffy peony, those intricate petals are just stunning.

In the name of this big love, yes i love peonies :)

Many of my cakes are decorated with these flowers.

First Step

My name is Nádia and I´m from Portugal and I have a social work degree.

Not even close to a pastry or a cake design course, well if I will count the hours watching culinary programs maybe I have a PhD in pastry!

The fact is that since I was a child I have been passionate about pastry and flowers and after living in France a few months for a social work internship my dream to become a pastry chef became even more alive.

You might be asking what is the relationship between flowers and pastry, that sounds a little bit awkward! In my opinion it makes all sense, I mean it’s the perfect combination.

Now you realize why I love to combine cakes with sugar flowers adding a vintage and a girly touch. This is what my Petite Pâtisserie means to me.

Cake from Sharon Wee Creations Class in London https://www.faircake.co.uk/

I started my “petit” business at home having my family and friends as costumers and cheerleaders, step by step, failure by failure, cake by cake, Petite Pâtisserie started rising.

You can visit my facebook page

Finally I started this blog to connect with people around the world and show what I love to do.
